SUMMARY:Laci Jordan: Vinyl Projects
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by her three vinyl installations that were on view until April 28\, 2022 throughout Brookfield Place\, Laci Jordan’s created artwork that’s currently displayed on twenty-five tables in the Winter Garden through May 31\, 2022. \nLaci’s first artwork was displayed in the Winter Garden\, the bold Pop Out installation\, this past summer. Laci Jordan created additional vinyl installations which was on display at Brookfield Place\, titled Plant the Seeds\, Stay Wavy\, and Transitions. \nPlant the Seeds was displayed in the Winter Garden through April 28\, 2022 This piece was created with the idea of growth in mind; growth for self and growth to show up as the person you would like to become. Plant the seeds\, and watch you grow. Laci Jordan “hopes this piece brings you a sense of peace\, magic\, and a will to continue growing within yourself — and for your future.” \nLaci Jordan has also created two new vinyl artworks for the outdoor facades at Brookfield Place\, which was on view through April 28\, 2022. Stay Wavy\, which was at 250 Vesey Street\, was a celebration of forward movement and staying true to oneself through the waves of life. Transitions\, which was found at 200 Vesey Street\, was a reminder to always find\, mold\, and build new versions of yourself. \nABOUT LACI JORDAN  \nLaci Jordan is a multidisciplinary designer\, illustrator\, Creative Director and the true definition of a modern-day renaissance woman. Laci’s work concentrates on color\, pop culture\, the representation of marginalized people and the intersectionality that exists amongst all of these spheres. Her works act as a portal into the world as she sees it. From her use of vibrant colors to her exploration of a world filled with captivating people of color\, her work reflects her deep commitment to creating authentic and unapologetic portrayals of contemporary culture. As a result\, throughout the course of her career\, her art has been commissioned by brands such as Bentley\, Disney\, Google\, Jordan Brand\, Motown Records\, Nike\, Refinery29\, REI\, Spotify\, Sweetgreen\, Ulta\, United Airlines\, and many more.
