With the power of her gospel singing African-American father’s voice and the determined spirit of her Cherokee/Shawnee/Choctaw mother\, Redbone broadens all boundaries of Americana. \n  \nJuly 25: DJ Shub \nConsidered to be the Godfather of PowWowStep\, DJ-producer Shub continues to pioneer a growing genre of electronic music. Shub is Mohawk of the Six Nations reserve located in Ontario\, Canada\, and began his career with nationally-acclaimed electronic music trio A Tribe Called Red. \nPresented in partnership with the Consulate General of Canada in NY.  \n  \nAugust 15: Supaman  \nAs a member of the “Apsaalooke Nation”\, Supaman makes his home on the Crow reservation in Montana. “Supaman” is Christian Takes Gun Parrish\, a Native American dancer and innovative hip hop artist who has dedicated his life to empowering and spreading a message of hope\, pride and resilience through his original art form. \n  \nFind more information on live music here!
